Growing in Unity - Day 3 - Happy 4th!!

Hi everyone and welcome to Day 3 of my Growing in Unity week!  Just want to wish you all a very Happy Independence Day here in the U.S.

Here is my patriotic card for today....


I used the chevron background stamp from the Unity Stamp Company Kit of the Month - December 2011.
It worked perfectly by masking off the areas and switching between Tim Holtz's Festive Berries and my Versamark stamp pad to make the great stripes in the flag.

    Gorgeous card Christy! Love the subtle vintage colors.
    Loved reading your bio on the Unity blog - we have a chocolate lab named Murphy and we were on the waiting list for another puppy that we were going to name Guinness - but ended up rescuing an adult lab named Sam - we tell everyone its Samuel Adams....LOL!

    I really like the style of this card, too. It looks homemade, which is what I'm after. I don't care for cards that are so slick that they look store bought!!!
